Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane has been brought in as peacemaker to stop Iker Casillas moving to the Premier League. Spain keeper Casillas 32 has attracted interest from Manchester City and Arsenal after falling out of favour at the Bernabeu. But Zidane who works as an ambassador for the club said: "I don't believe Casillas will leave the club but it is better to have these conversations face to face." Casillas became a target for Arsenal in the summer after losing his place under former boss Jose Mourinho who brought in Diego Lopez. Carlo Ancelotti has not restored Casillas as No1 since taking charge at Real Madrid and that has led to the Spanish keeper considering his options. Manchester City managed by former Madrid boss Manuel Pellegrini are watching developments in case he becomes available in January. Barcelona are also watching developments but it would be difficult to see a Real Madrid legend moving to the Nou Camp.
