Wild winger Zach Parise has undergone back surgery to remove a herniated disk and is expected to miss at least 8-10 weeks, the team announced on Tuesday morning. Parise has not played in a game this season as he has continued to deal with the injury. He was cleared for full contact two weeks ago after practicing intermittently with the team throughout training camp. Parise appeared on track to make his season debut before suffering a setback during last Monday’s practice. He left the ice after about 20 minutes that day following a session in which players went through intense one-on-one drills.
