Junior Galette has never played a snap for the Washington Redskins, but he sure does excite fans, and it looks like Galette will again sign with the 'Skins in 2017. Galette has not played since 2014, when he registered 10 sacks for the Saints. He was released after that season amid some off-field allegations, and eventually, signed with the Redskins prior to the 2015 season. Prior to taking the field for Jay Gruden, Galette tore his Achilles, ending his 2015 season. Through tireless workouts, many posted on social media, Galette announced he would be ready for the 2016 season, and it looked like the plan was working. Then, the weekend before players reported to Richmond for training camp, again Galette tore his Achilles. Throughout his time away from the field, Galette voiced his loyalty to the 'Skins via Twitter and Instagram. His announcement that he will again sign with Washington is not much of a surprise, especially considering he twice signed one-year, team-friendly deals in 2015 and 2016 to prove to Scot McCloughan and the organization he was worth taking a chance on.
Galette expects to sign 3rd deal with Redskins after missing last 2 years
