The Eagles are about to start the second phase of their offseason workouts, and a familiar veteran player will not be in attendance.
Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Jeff McLane said tight end Zach Ertz did not show up for COVID testing ahead of the Phase 2 voluntary workouts set to begin on Tuesday. McLane added that Ertz is not expected to be at any of the Eagles’ offseason programs.
Last season, Ertz finished the season with 36 catches for 335 yards and a touchdown. The team looks to move forward with Dallas Goedert as the team’s starting tight end moving forward.
