The White Sox are a vengeful bunch. Players don't like to talk about retaliation, but the motivation exists. Kevin Youkilis and Dewayne Wise proved it again on Tuesday night. One night after old American League East foe Joba Chamberlain hit him with a pitch, Youkiils sank his former enemies with a fifth-inning, opposite-field grand slam. Youkilis' homer off Ivan Nova and four singles by Wise, who was released by the Yankees in July, paced the White Sox to a 7-3 victory over the New York Yankees in front of 24,247 at U.S. Cellular Field.
