The Yankees will pay tribute to the city of Boston during their game against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday night. Paying homage to the city of Boston, which was rocked by two bombings during the Boston Marathon, will have a special moment of silence and will play Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’ at the end of the third inning. The Yankees also released a statement on Tuesday regarding the attacks. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and the families who were affected by the bombings and our respect and admiration go out to the police, medical personnel and first responders who acted so heroically," the statement read. "We stand united with the participants, volunteers, staff and spectators of the Boston Marathon and the people of Boston.
