Mark Teixeira left today’s game in the fourth inning and was replaced by David Adams at first base. Teixeira, who missed the first two months of the season with a right wrist injury, started the game against the Angels hitting .157 (8-for-51) and in a 4-for-33 (.121) slide. “He doesn’t feel like he has the snap in his swing,’’ Joe Girardi said on FOX during the game. Teixeira leaving the game came one day after the Yankees put corner infielder Kevin Youkilis on the DL with lower back troubles. He is slated to see back surgeon Dr. Robert Watkins Monday.
