The Yankees re-signed lefty specialist Clay Rapada to a minor-league deal, a little more than a week after removing him from their 40-man roster. He's headed to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes Barre. Rapada, 32, appeared in 70 games for the Yankees last season. He finished with a 2.82 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 38 1/3 innings. But he dealt with shoulder bursitis during spring training and lost his roster spot to first baseman Lyle Overbay.
