A game of musical third basemen could play out in New York this winter. With the Mets (David Wright, Asdrubal Cabrera) and Yankees (Chase Headley) both entering the offseason without the future at third base entrenched at the hot corner, expect to see both teams linked to similar names. While the idea of Todd Frazier staying close to his New Jersey roots (with either the Yankees or Mets) makes sense, we could be on the verge of a battle for a bigger fish and potentially more significant bat: Left-handed slugger Mike Moustakas. According to Nick Cafardo of The Boston Globe, both the Yankees and Mets are among the teams expected to chase the 29-year-old ex-Kansas City Royals star.
