Joe Girardi was right and the Gerry Davis, the umpire who booted him, was tricked. That's the gist of Girardi's explanation of why he was ejected from Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Orioles at Camden Yards. "Gerry got fooled," Girardi said. Girardi stormed out of the dugout to confront Davis and tell him that replay confirmed Davis was wrong when he ruled Stephen Drew had run out of the base line and was out in the seventh inning. Drew hit a weak grounder up the first base line with two outs. Pitcher Chris Tillman fielded it but tossed it underhand past first baseman Steve Pearce.
