The Yankees were socked with another apparent injury Friday afternoon when Eduardo Nunez - Derek Jeter's fill-in at shortstop - came out of the game after getting hit by a pitch. Nunez flopped to the ground in agony after getting plunked in the right arm. He stayed there for a few moments while Joe Girardi and an athletic trainer tended to him and then they helped Nunez off the field. The injury was later called a bruised right bicep and precautionary X-rays were negative. Jayson Nix went to first base to run for Nunez and remained in the game at shortstop afterward. It's another blow for the Yankees, who started the season with Jeter, Mark Teixeira, Alex Rodriguez and Curtis Granderson on the disabled list.
