All the Yankees wanted from catcher Gary Sanchez on Monday night was three at-bats and continued good health in his South Atlantic League rehab game with the low-A Charleston RiverDogs.

Mission there, and that will have Sanchez headed for Anaheim on Tuesday and then on Wednesday off the injured list and probably starting against the Los Angeles Angels.

“Got through it,” Yankees manager Aaron Boone said after Tuesday night’s 4-3, 14-inning win over the Angels.

Got through it but ...

Catching the first five innings and batting second for Charleston in a 7-1 loss to the Kannapolis Intimidators, Sanchez also gave fans at Joe Riley Stadium a sample of the Gary Sanchez that Yankees fans saw last season.

He was 0-for-3 at the plate.

He didn’t run out a checked swing grounder.

He had two passed balls.
