But when those rival fans bring his family into the picture, it can ruin what may have otherwise been good-natured fun. "It happens, man; my parents sometimes don't go to games because of what fans do," Jeter said. "But I don't think that's a reflection of all the fans. You're always going to run into an idiot here or there who's going to do something or say something to someone's family."
