Trevon Bluiett is returning to Xavier and the Cintas Center for one last season. Xavier basketball confirmed Tuesday before 8 p.m. that Bluiett is withdrawing his name from NBA Draft consideration and will suit up for the Musketeers’ 2017-18 season. “Trevon is one of the best players in all of college basketball and we're excited to have him back in the role of senior leader,” Xavier head coach Chris Mack said in a team news release. “Tre has been a part of three straight NCAA appearances including trips to the Sweet 16 and Elite 8. He competes every day and continues to improve in every facet of the game. I know our fans are ecstatic.” From his Twitter account, @TrevonBluiett, Bluiett, a rising junior, tweeted a message the made clear his intent to return to campus. The tweet included a one-minute long video highlight of memorable moments from this past Xavier season.
