Wolverhampton Wanderers are supposedly eyeing a transfer swoop for Sunderland’s young midfielder Daniel Neil.
According to Chronicle Live, the Old Gold are eyeing a move for the youngster who would be available for a ‘minimal fee’ in training compensation.
Reportedly, Nuno Espirito Santo’s outfit is not alone in their interest in signing the Black Cats’ 18-year-old middleman, though.
As stated in the report, Newcastle United are also eyeing a swoop for the youngster, as are the reigning Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.
According to Football Insider, Leeds United are also interested in a move for the highly-rated academy player.
Their report states that while the fee would just be for his training and development costs, sealing the 18-year-old’s arrival would still set a buyer back a six-figure fee.
