The Wizards have signed No. 3 overall draft pick Otto Porter, last season's Big East Player of the Year, the team announced Monday. The 6-8 Porter averaged 16.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 42 percent on 3-pointers as a Georgetown sophomore. He'll play small forward in Washington and give the Wizards a promising perimeter trio along with John Wall and Bradley Beal. Porter's deal could pay him $19 million over four seasons, according to the NBA's scale for rookie salaries. Washington also signed second-round pick Glen Rice Jr. The Wizards began a four-day minicamp Monday in preparation for the Las Vegas summer league.
