Former Miami Heat center Willie Reed has agreed to a diversion program that would lead to the dismissal of his misdemeanor domestic battery charge from an incident in Miami in August. Reed, who left the Heat to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers as a free agent in the offseason, is scheduled for arraignment Monday in Miami. According to the terms of the agreement there will be no admission of guilt and no eventual criminal record. The agreement includes counseling in Los Angeles, a $500 donation to a domestic-violence charity, a public statement about the seriousness of domestic violence. Reed will not be in court Monday.
