Portland Trail Blazers guard Mo Williams re-aggravated a pulled groin in that brutal 116-92 Game 1 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night. He first sustained the painful injury in the Game 6 opening round clincher over the Houston Rockets. It has limited his mobility to a certain extent, but he’s going to keep on keeping on. “It’s the playoffs, man,” Williams told CSNNW.com. “I got to grind it out. The [expletive] hurts, but I’m going to do what I can.” For precautionary reasons, Williams says he didn’t participate in yesterday’s practice session. This nagging injury doesn’t bode well for Portland considering they’re up against the most potent bench in the league, being the Spurs. In Game 1, the Spurs’ bench outscored Portland’s bench 50-18.
