The Phoenix Suns tied the Cleveland Cavaliers for the NBA’s worst record, but that meant nothing on NBA draft lottery night.

Instead of finishing in the top three, the Suns dropped all the way to sixth. But instead of pouting, first-year general manager James Jones may be looking to make a move.

According to Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic, the Suns may try to trade up to land Murray State product Ja Morant, a point guard who has drawn favorable comparisons to Russell Westbrook.

The Suns are in desperate need of a point guard, and with new coach Monty Williams taking the reins, they appear more determined than ever to find one.
