Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman has never been shy to pull the trigger on a trade. But with the Blackhawks playing as one of the NHL's top teams, is there a move out there that can make the defending champs even better? Sun-Times Blackhawks reporter Mark Lazerus joined SportsNet Central on Monday and said he wouldn't be surprised to see the Hawks make a deal following next month's Olympic break. "I think just like last year (Bowman will) be in the market for a center. I don't know if it will be quote-unquote a second-line center, but they do need some depth down at the middle," Lazerus told CSN's Pat Boyle. "They got (Michal) Handzus last year, and it turned into gold. They need to find someone like that, who doesn't cost a lot of money. They probably have to move a roster player if they want to bring in a guy that has any salary at all. They do have eight defensemen. Someone might be in the market for that. It's going to be tricky. Bowman's proven in the past, though, that he can make a lot happen with just a little bit of money."
