Scratch one name off the quarterback competition for the Arizona Wildcats. Nick Isham informed UA coaches this morning that he will transfer and look for an opportunity to play elsewhere. The Calabasas, Calif., native has two seasons of eligibility remaining. Isham, a non-scholarship player, transferred to the UA from Louisiana Tech before the 2012 season and sat out that year, per NCAA rules. He served as one of B.J. Denker's backups last season and was the No. 2 quarterback for the Advocare V100 Bowl after backup Javelle Allen was dismissed from the team. Like all of the quarterbacks, Isham got equal reps during spring ball and even worked with the first-team offense for a good bit because of his knowledge of the offense.
