Prized pitching prospect Dylan Cease will make his debut with the White Sox on Wednesday.

The right-hander will start the first game of a doubleheader against the Tigers at Guaranteed Rate Field.

He is the No. 3 prospect in the White Sox organization and No. 18 in all of baseball, according to

“Everybody feels this is the right time," Sox manager Rick Renteria said Sunday.

Cease is 5-2 with a 4.48 ERA and 73 strikeouts in 15 starts for Triple-A Charlotte.
