The White Sox are hitting home runs, hanging in games after they fall behind and taking potential playoff rivals such as the Los Angeles Angels to the limit. But despite all the good things the Sox did in their second consecutive extra-inning game Saturday, the Angels evened the series with a 6-5 victory in 10 innings. The winning run scored on Howie Kendrick's single against Matt Thornton (4-7), who was the winner Friday.
