David West apparently noticed all the fun his former teammate Tyson Chandler was having during the NBA Finals. That's led West to consider a shot at playing for his first championship as a leading component of where he ends up in his looming free agency. West is forbidden to talk to teams while the lockout stretches out. But he's hopeful his New Orleans teammate, point guard Chris West, also noticed what Chandler accomplished after helping Dallas to its first NBA title. "He's got the same mindset I have, just wanting to win," West told NBA.com. "Dallas getting to the Finals and wining it all, having a guy (Chandler) that was a part of our core just a few years ago be on that team, it did something to me. It changed my mindset. I just want an opportunity to get on that stage."
