MICHAIL ANTONIO apologised for the late show that saw him dropped — but assures fans he is totally committed to West Ham. The forward was axed from the squad for Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace after turning up late to a team meeting. That denied him his first game back after six weeks out injured. Antonio, 27, took his punishment like a man and is now back on the right side of boss David Moyes for today’s visit to Brighton. But he is desperate the fans know he is not a slacker. Antonio told SunSport: “I am not making excuses, I was late. I agree with what the manager did. “I was late for a meeting, he dropped me from the squad. I understand that to the fullest. I spoke to him and apologised. “But I’m always on time. I love to be on time. The problem arose through confusion and it’s down to the fact I have been injured.
