DAVID SULLIVAN has banned West Ham from signing older players — without telling boss David Moyes. It is the latest chaotic episode at the London Stadium and came just hours before the lunchtime clash with Chelsea. Last month co-owner Sullivan sacked Slaven Bilic after he brought in too many old-timers. Sullivan, 68, said: “We’ve let the manager pick who he wants. Maybe going forward we won’t. We have to take a look at the age of the players we’re signing. “We will have to bring in two or three in January. They will be young players, they won’t be 32.” And that was news to Moyes, who is a staunch believer a player’s quality is more important than his date of birth.
