West Brom have approached Queens Park Rangers regarding the possibility of signing winger Eberechi Eze, BirminghamLive understands.

Eze, who scored a wonderful solo goal at The Hawthorns on the final game of the season as the Baggies were promoted back to the Premier League, has just been called up to the England U21s and comes highly rated.

Tipped for a top flight leap this summer, a host of sides including Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham United have all been linked with moves for Eze before the new campaign begins.

Albion, though, have been in contact with QPR regarding a deal, but the situation as it stands is a rather delicate one.
