Shea Weber and Ryan Suter have been regarded as one of the NHL's top defensive pairs for the last several seasons. Finally, both have earned recognition for their individual ability. Weber and Suter were among 36 players selected by the league to participate in the 2012 NHL All-Star Game, which will take place Jan 29 at Ottawa. Six players previously were named through fan voting. It is the second time Nashville has two players in the contest. The first was 2004, when defenseman Kimmo Timonen and goalie Tomas Vokoun took part. Additionally, forward Craig Smith was one of 12 rookies selected to participate in the All-Star weekend festivities.
