With insights on their view of the current Buffalo Bills roster coming few and far between from Doug Marrone and Mike Pettine, I was pleasantly surprised to hear new defensive line coach speak relatively candidly about his vision for Marcell Dareus. Appearing on The John Murphy Show last night, Anthony Weaver spoke largely to his experience as a young player coming into a powerhouse defense on the Baltimore Ravens, then his role as a mentor on the Houston Texans and the rapport he developed with Mario Williams. His talking points on the defense as a whole were very similar to Pettine: various fronts, attacking, making the scheme fit the players, not the players to the scheme, and the rest that we've already heard.
Weaver sees Dareus as "dominant nose guard"
