Washington State’s Isaiah Johnson-Mack announced his decision to transfer earlier this week, citing a desire to be closer to home. Cougars coach Mike Leach, though, is apparently intent on making that process as difficult as possible for his star receiver. Johnson-Mack posted a note on Twitter Saturday afternoon explaining that Leach has denied releasing him from his scholarship. Making matters even uglier? The native of Belle Glade, Fla., has a two-year old son at home. Earlier this week, University of Tennessee officials dismissed athletic director John Currie in wake of his plans to hire Leach as the Volunteers’ new football coach.
