Washington State fans' excitement that led to storming the field after the Cougars beat then-No. 5 Southern California on Friday, has caused the school to be fined. The Pac-12 will fine Washington State $25,000, the conference confirmed. The conference enacted a policy earlier this summer, stressing safety, that would fine schools for field or court storming $25,000 for the first offense, $50,000 for the second and $100,000 for the third. Cougars fans came on to the field before the clock completely ran out in the Cougars 30-27 win against the Trojans. At least one fan was hit by a USC player.
