The Washington Football Team is making a change at kicker. On Tuesday, the club announced that it has released veteran Dustin Hopkins, ending his seven-season run with the franchise.

The 31-year-old originally signed with Washington back in 2015 after spending his first two seasons in the league with the Bills -- who drafted him in the sixth round in 2013 -- and Saints, respectively. In a corresponding move, Washington signed kicker Chris Blewitt from the practice squad.
