For the past three years, Monta Ellis was the focus of media day for all of the wrong reasons. This time, he took a novel approach and made news for all of the right reasons. On Monday, Ellis said he has put the bad feelings stemming from management's punishment over his moped accident that cost him all but 25 games in the 2008-09 season and the trade of friend Stephen Jackson behind him. "There are probably a lot of things you've seen from Monta Ellis in the past six years that you won't see this year. That's for the sake of the team."
