Do the Golden State Warriors have interest in Tyson Chandler? The Warriors struggled to deal with the void left by injured big man Andrew Bogut in this year's playoffs. In light of those struggles, Golden State recognizes a need to acquire a big man this summer, according to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. That’s where Chandler comes in. The Warriors, you may remember, thought they had Chandler signed as a free agent back in 2011, but were outbid by the Knicks. And, according to Smith, Golden State may be interested in acquiring Chandler in a trade this summer. “They still like Tyson Chandler,” Smith said on ESPN 98.7 FM’s “The Stephen A. Smith and Ryan Ruocco Show” on Wednesday. One trade that would work financially for both teams? A swap of David Lee and Harrison Barnes in exchange for Chandler. It is unclear at this point if either team would consider such a swap.
