The Golden State Warriors assigned guards Kent Bazemore and MarShon Brooks and center Ognjen Kuzmic to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, the team announced on Tuesday. All three players will suit up for tonight’s game against the Idaho Stampede at the Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz (7:00 p.m.). Bazemore, who is averaging 2.3 points and 6.1 minutes over 44 games with Golden State this year, made his D-League season debut in Santa Cruz on Feb. 1, leading the Warriors to a win over the Bakersfield Jam with a game-high 25 points. Brooks, acquired via trade from Boston on Jan. 15, is averaging 1.9 points and 2.1 minutes in seven games with Golden State.
