Moments ago 6'7" Delaware grad transfer Justyn Mutts announced his decision through Pat Lawless on Twitter that he plans to continue his career with Virginia Tech saying, "Last night I committed to coach Mike Young and will continue my career at Virginia Tech. Go Hokies!" Head coach Mike Young was looking for a replacement for PJ Horne and found an excellent option in Mutts who has two years of eligibility remaining.

Justyn started his career at High Point University and put together a solid freshman season averaging 6 points, 4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 1.1 steals per game. He found himself all over the court and the stat sheet and decided to find a new home after the season and transferred to Delaware. After redshirting the 2018-2019 season, Mutts averaged 12.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1 block, and 1.3 steals per game.

Justyn had his career night against Hofstra, getting 30 points and 17 rebounds, but had five games with 20+ points this past season.
