Real Madrid will decide Takefusa Kubo’s next team this week and Villarreal appear to have the edge to complete a loan deal for him, with Celta, Granada and Osasuna also in the mix, according to a report from AS.

Bayern Munich have also shown interest in the Japanese talent —per that same report— but both Real Madrid and Kubo agree that the player should stay in La Liga and also in a team where he can be a regular starter, something which wouldn’t be all that likely in Munich.

Villarreal and Granada seem to be Kubo’s most likely destination because Real Madrid are keen on the fact that Kubo would be playing European football if he joined those two teams.
