Case Keenum has led the Minnesota Vikings to a 7-2 record in nine starts since taking over for the injured Sam Bradford under center early this season. He’s coming off a four-game span that has seen the veteran journeyman average north of 280 passing yards with nine touchdowns and three interceptions. Minnesota is in the midst of a seven-game winning streak, averaging north of 27 points in the process. Despite this, head coach Mike Zimmer is unwilling to commit to Keenum as the team’s starter for the remainder of the season. “He’ll (Keenum) be the starter next week,” Zimmer said Friday in stopping short of naming Keenum the starter beyond Week 13, via the Star Tribune. The head coach also took time to criticize his quarterback following a 30-23 win over Detroit on Thanksgiving.
