The Minnesota Vikings have added depth at running back after losing Dalvin Cook for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. The Vikings signed Stevan Ridley, according to NFL Media. Last year, Ridley played only one game with the Atlanta Falcons, rushing three times for seven yards. It has been four years since Ridley played in more than half his team’s games, as he spent eight games active with the New York Jets in 2015 and six with the New England Patriots in 2014 before he tore his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments. Before that injury, he played in 14 games for the Patriots in 2013, starting six, and averaged 4.3 yards on 178 carries.
