Victor Cruz is hopeful for one last dance with the Giants. The former Giants wide receiver watched Odell Beckham Jr., Brandon Marshall and Dwayne Harris all go down with season-ending injuries last week, leaving the team completely decimated at the receiving position. On Friday, Cruz said on his UNINTERRUPTED podcast, "The Victor Cruz Show," that he believes he can help the 2017 Giants. "One thousand percent," he told co-host Paul Rivera. "One thousand percent." Asked if he was hopeful he would get a phone call from the Giants, Cruz said, "I absolutely am." Cruz, 30, was cut by the Chicago Bears at the end of the preseason earlier this year and has not gotten a call from another team since. He spent the last seven seasons with the Giants before the two parted ways after a disappointing 2016 season. It was his first season since rupturing his patellar tendon in 2014, which — along with a persistent calf injury — kept him out of the 2015 season as well.
