After an off-season of optimism about Kevin Seraphin, who stayed in D.C. to train with the Wizards' coaching staff, the fun-loving, Segway riding, animal enthusiast and backup center finds himself in the doghouse. Seraphin was the first big off the bench in the first six games of the season, but he burned himself in a 105-95 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. Coach Randy Wittman won't commit to how much he'll use Seraphin, who was awful in that loss that he logged just three minutes and only five the next night in a loss at the San Antonio Spurs. Jan Vesely, who only had seen one minute in garbage time up to that point, jumped him in the rotation and played 22 minutes in San Antonio.
Vesely displaces Seraphin in primary backup role
