The wait lasted more than three months, but Chase Utley finally saw action in a game Monday. Utley was 3-for-4 with a double and a home run while serving as the designated hitter in an extended spring training game in Clearwater, Fla., a small measure of his readiness for the majors but a huge hurdle in the ongoing drama surrounding his gimpy knees. "The big thing now will be to see how quick we can get him active and doing things on the field," said Charlie Manuel, who reported Utley came through the game feeling good. Getting Utley in the field will be a far more telling moment in his rehab.
