South Florida Bulls defensive end LaDarrius Jackson was arrested Monday night on charges of sexual battery and false imprisonment of another student on the university’s campus. He has since been dismissed from the football program. An arrest report from the program, per Tampa Bay Times, noted that Jackson forced the female victim to perform sex despite verbal refutes. The victim claimed that she did not leave the room because she feared that the 6-foot-4, 234-pound Jackson would try to stop her, according to the report. The victim relayed the the incident to university housing staff, who helped her get in touch with police. Jackson was set to fly home with the spring semester concluding, when he was contacted by authorities and detained at the local airport.
