USC declared sophomore guard De’Anthony Melton ineligible as the school continues to investigate allegations of bribery, his attorney told the Los Angeles Times. Melton, who has been held out of USC’s first 10 games, did not travel with the Trojans to Hawaii for the Diamond Head Classic. The new information USC is investigating is not related to an alleged $5,000 bribe, Melton's attorney Vicki I. Podberesky told the Times Wednesday.
