USC wide receiver Kyle Ford, a talented athlete whom the Trojans hoped would fill the shoes of NFL-bound Michael Pittman, suffered a second significant ACL injury in three years and will be “out for foreseeable future,” USCFootball.com reported.

Ford, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound receiver from Orange County, was a five-star recruit from Orange Lutheran High School whose skill set has been compared to former USC star JuJu Smith-Schuster. His collegiate career got off to a slow start after he suffered a torn ACL in high school in 2018, forcing him to sit out most of his senior season.
