The Los Angeles city attorney’s office has filed five misdemeanor charges against suspended USC wide receiver Joseph Lewis IV, who was arrested last month on suspicion of domestic violence, according to Frank Mateljan, a spokesman for the office. Lewis faces three charges of domestic battery with an injury for separate incidents that were alleged to have occurred Feb. 5 and Feb. 11. Lewis was arrested Feb. 12. He was also charged with additional counts of domestic battery without an injury and false imprisonment. Los Angeles police have not provided details surrounding his arrest. An arraignment for Lewis was scheduled for Tuesday, Mateljan said.
