San Diego State has a difficult road trip to UNLV before the season-ending showdown with New Mexico, but the Aztecs won't have to deal with one of the Runnin' Rebels' best players. UNLV junior forward Roscoe Smith will miss Wednesday's game with a concussion, the school announced Sunday night. “Roscoe was evaluated today and was determined to have a concussion,” head coach Dave Rice said in a statement. “He will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis, but he will miss Wednesday's game against San Diego State.” Smith, a 6-foot-8 from Baltimore, has been outstanding this season after transferring from Connecticut. He is averaging 11.0 points and 11.0 rebounds on the season, ranking fifth natioanlly with 15 double-doubles. He has started every game for the Runnin' Rebels this season.
