Central Florida guard B.J. Taylor will be sidelined for at least the next four-to-six weeks due to a fractured foot, Knights head coach Johnny Dawkins has informed FanRag Sports. The 6-2 Taylor played 26 minutes during the Knights’ season-opening win over Mercer, pouring in 12 points, dishing out four assists and bringing down one rebound. He managed to put up those numbers despite missing a bulk of the second half due to the aforementioned setback. The All-Conference point guard was pivotal for Central Florida a season ago as well, producing 17.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and an even four assists per game while recording 32 steals. Taylor made an impact as early as his freshman season, when he averaged 12.8 points per game over 26 contests.
