The Miami Dolphins bolstered their front seven earlier this month as they signed Melvin Ingram to a one-year deal worth $5 million. The agreement came after Ingram visited the team ahead of last month’s 2022 NFL Draft, and after more talks, the two sides agreed on a contract deal.

Hill is much familiar with Ingram’s prowess on the field, as he had a front-row seat to watch him shine on the defensive side of the ball during his half-season run with the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran defensive end recorded eight quarterback hits and three total sacks in 12 total games played with the Chiefs last season, including the playoffs.
