Tyler Herro is proving his doubters wrong with his brilliant play this 2021-22 season, and while his recent scoring surge with the Miami Heat is getting all the attention, he wants to remind everyone that he’s been doing the same thing since the start of the campaign.

Miami’s sharpshooter has been averaging 25.9 points on a 54 percent clip per game since returning from the All-Star break. When asked on Wednesday whether his incredible stretch is his way of making a statement that he deserves to be the Sixth Man of the Year, Herro made it a point to emphasize that it is all he has been doing this year.

There are no lies in Tyler Herro’s statement, though. For anyone who has watched the Heat this season, Herro has actually been phenomenal for the team–often leading them in scoring and providing a much-needed spark when they need to.
